Trying a new studio should feel exciting—not stressful. If you’re looking for Pilates and strength training in Belmont MA, we want your first visit to Fit All Year Round to feel easy from the moment you arrive.
From where to park and what to wear to when you should arrive, a little preparation can make your first visit that much easier.
Whether you’re joining us for Pilates, strength training, or a private session, here’s a quick guide to help you get started.
Before You Arrive
Give yourself a few extra minutes before your first visit.
Arriving early gives you time to find the studio, park, change your shoes, put away your belongings, meet your instructor or coach, and get familiar with the space before your session begins.
Once you’ve been here a few times, it’ll all feel second nature.
Where to Park
Fit All Year Round has two studio spaces in Belmont:
Pilates: 453 Common Street
Strength: 450 Common Street

Before your first visit, take a look at our parking guide so you know exactly where you’re headed.
And if you’re attending a class or event that uses both studios, your instructor will let you know where to begin.
What Should I Wear + Bring?
Come dressed in comfortable workout clothing that allows you to move freely while providing the coverage and support needed for your session.
For women:
Tops should provide full coverage, including opaque fabric over the chest. If you’re wearing loose or shorter bottoms, compression shorts or leggings are required underneath.
For men:
We recommend long leggings or jogger-style sweatpants that are fitted around the ankles, paired with a comfortable workout T-shirt. If you prefer to wear shorts, compression shorts are required underneath.
For everyone:
Clean grip socks are required for all sessions in both our Pilates and Strength studios—no sneakers are worn inside the studios. If you don’t have grip socks, they’re available for purchase when you arrive.
We have water available in the studio, or you’re welcome to bring your own reusable water bottle.
Other than that, you don’t need to bring much. Come ready to move, learn, and ask questions. You don’t need to know exactly what you’re doing before you arrive—that’s what we’re here for.
What to Expect from Pilates + Strength Training
Whether you’re joining us for Pilates or strength training, our classes are intentionally small so your instructor or coach can provide thoughtful, individualized attention throughout your session.
Classes begin promptly, giving everyone the full time to move, learn, and train together. Once class begins, our studio doors are locked, so we recommend arriving a few minutes early.
That gives you time to get settled, put away your belongings, get your grip socks on, and be ready to begin when class starts.
Our goal is simple: to create a focused, welcoming environment where you can get the most out of your time with us—whether it’s your first class or you’ve been training with us for years.
A Little Time to Disconnect
We want your time at Fit All Year Round to be time you can actually give to yourself.
During class, we ask that phones are put away and smartwatches are placed on theater mode.
Fewer distractions allow you to focus on your movement, connect with your coach or instructor, and get more out of the time you’ve set aside to train.
What If My Plans Change?
We understand—life happens.
For group classes, we have a 12-hour cancellation policy.
For private sessions, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
If you’re on a class waitlist, keep in mind that our system can automatically move you into class until 12 hours before the class begins. Keep an eye on your notifications so you know when you’ve received a spot.
Can I Bring My Child With Me?
For everyone’s safety and to keep the training environment focused, children should not accompany clients into the studio unless arrangements have been approved in advance.
If you’re ever unsure about a specific situation, reach out to us before your visit and we’ll be happy to help.
Why Do We Have These Studio Guidelines?
They’re not here just for the sake of having rules.
With intentionally small classes at Fit All Year Round, every person in the room matters. Arriving on time, minimizing distractions, wearing the appropriate footwear, and managing reservations thoughtfully all help us create a better experience for everyone.
They also allow our instructors and coaches to focus on what matters most: helping you move well, get stronger, and feel confident in the studio.
